Medicine is among the most useful donations and, at the same time, the most tightly regulated. To be shipped and used, it must comply with the WHO Guidelines for Medicine Donations: identification by International Nonproprietary Name (INN), a legible batch and expiry date, and enough remaining shelf life.

What's accepted
- Medicine with a legible INN, batch and expiry date.
- At least 365 days of remaining shelf life as of the capture date.
- Original, factory-sealed packaging, unopened.
What's not accepted
- Medicine with less than 365 days of shelf life or without a legible expiry date.
- Controlled substances (automatically blocked at registration).
- Loose medical samples or medicine outside its original packaging.
